Spirituality Adventures - What is the Blessing of Shalom? with Fred Herron
Health is a spiritual adventure. In this episode of Spirituality Adventures, Fred explores the spiritual values of health and wholeness from a biblical perspective. In the Old Testament (the Hebrew Bible), shalom is a Hebrew greeting that encompasses a blessing for our health and wellbeing—physically, emotionally, relationally, and spiritually. In the New Testament, the Apostle Paul introduces a radical new concept to the Greco-Roman world—your body is a spiritual temple. These ideas demonstrate why health care practices are foundational to our spiritual growth.
