It was prior to my senior year of high school that I tore my ACL(ligament that keeps the kneecap secure in place for lateral movement). Genesis 5-"A Distinguished Heritage"
Living a life distinct from the culture and society around you can be tough. Ridicule and scoffing can be difficult on the workplace and family when dealing with matters of faith. The LORD desires us to be bold as we live for HIM: in speech and conduct. Not everyone will readily receive God's Word but He has called believers to be faithful. As we conclude the the 10 generations of Genesis 5, let's be reminded of their perseverance to the faith. Scripture references: 1 Chronicles 1:1-4, Luke 3:36-38, Luke 11:49-51, Hebrews 11:4-5, 1 Peter 3:20, 2 Peter 3:9, Jude 14-15

Genesis 5 "A Unique Heritage"-Enoch and Methuselah
A unique heritage begins with a name or identity. The family history recorded in Genesis 5 (Adam to Noah) has names with significance (i.e. Seth means "Appointed One"). Enoch means "Dedicated" and Methuselah means "When he dies, judgement comes". Most of this lesson will focus on Enoch. Please read Genesis 5, you will notice Moses explains his life is very different from the other patriarchs of his time. Those of us who call upon the name of the Lord, may we also walk with the Lord. God bless you!
