Das Konzert am 05.10.2024 nimmt euch mit auf eine musikalische Reise nach Schottland mit Mendelssohn Bartholdys Sinfonie Nr. 3, inspiriert von den geheimnisvollen Orten der schroffen Landschaft und dem Nebel.
Außerdem erwarten euch märchenhafte Klänge mit dem Violinkonzert von Szymanowski. Der weitgereiste Komponist sammelte musikalische Souvenir, die er in seinen Stil integrierte. So treffen in seinen Werken orientalische Einflüsse auf den französischen Impressionismus und weitere Stilrichtungen.
Das schillernde Werk mit Sommernachtstraum-Flair von Bacewicz ist das Werk Nr. 3 bei diesem eindrucksvollen Konzert im Konzerthaus.

Das Werk ist hoch virtuos und brillant, es perlt und sprüht. Das konnte Mendelssohn wie kein anderer, denken wir nur an die Ouvertüre zum „Sommernachtstraum“. Seine zweite große Stärke waren seine unglaublich rührenden Melodien. Das kommt im zweiten Satz, einem „Lied ohne Worte“, wunderbar zur Geltung.
