1 月 24 日，联合国发稿敦促采取行动保护阿富汗境内的受教育权，这是因为，阿富汗是唯一一个严格禁止女孩和妇女接受中学及高等教育的国家，在这里，有 220 万女孩被剥夺了接受中学教育的权利。
这一期节目，我们就记录了这 220 万阿富汗女孩中的 2 位 —— Qudsia 和 Razia，她们在本该继续上学的年纪，因政权的更迭失去了教育的机会。但女孩并没有因此放弃自己的人生，在一片黑暗之中，她们挣扎着为自己探寻通向明亮彼岸的哪怕一丁点的希望。
这不是一个已经抵达终点的故事，而是一个仍在进行中的人生。通过阿富汗女孩的讲述，我们或许可以看到，在被系统性排除在教育之外后，一个具体的人，是如何理解失去、承受失去，又如何努力把未来握在自己手中的。

伊斯兰伊斯玛仪派（Ismaili）：
伊斯兰教什叶派的第二大分支，在阿富汗主要分布于哈扎拉（Hazaras）等族群中 。该派别在漫长的历史中以极度重视理性、科学与教育而著称，在当代教义中明确强调女性受教育权的平等与重要性。
长期以来，伊斯玛仪派的精神领袖伊玛目 —— 阿迦汗四世（Aga Khan IV）通过其创立的阿迦汗发展网（AKDN），在全球范围内改善贫困人口的生活条件和机会。在一些教育资源受限的地区，伊斯玛仪派社群往往仍努力为女孩提供继续学习的机会。
