Maryanne Gore reports from the Canberra Day Appeal Fun Run where a team of 20 runners, walkers and guiders from 1RPH and Achilles Running Club tackled the 10k, 5k or 2.5k around Commonwealth Park and Lake Burley Griffin. Also some runners were representing Kookaburra Kids - Maryanne found out about this charity and interviewed their CEO, Sean O'Halloran, which promotes mental health and wellbeing for children aged 8 to 18 who may have a family member with mental illness.
