Enviei um Requerimento de Informação da Câmara (RIC) para o ministro da Defesa, Fernando Azevedo e Silva, solicitando esclarecimentos sobre os cortes no orçamento do Exército Brasileiro. Em comunicado, o comandante do Exército, General Edson Pujol, autorizou a diminuição do repasse para se adequar ao contingenciamento de 28% previsto no orçamento para as despesas discricionárias da instituição, incluindo os programas estratégicos, segundo matéria da Folha de São Paulo (30/8).
