Hij vertelt hierin over de ontstaansgeschiedenis, en hoe de Johannes Passion muzikaal in geen enkel opzicht minder is dan de Matthäus Passion, die een uur langer duurt en veel complexer is. De Johannes Passion werd drie jaar eerder gecomponeerd en was de deur naar Bach’s Passionen. Een baanbrekende eersteling.

Ο Αλκίνοος προσφέρει στον Οδυσσέα επίσημο γεύμα προς τιμήν του. Κατά τη διάρκεια του γεύματος, ο Δημόδοκος, ο θείος αοιδός, καλείται να τραγουδήσει το επεισόδιο του Τρωικού Πολέμου όπου ο Οδυσσέας και ο Αχιλλέας φιλονίκησαν. Στο άκουσμα του τραγουδιού, ο Οδυσσέας συγκινείται. Όμως καταφέρνει να συγκρατηθεί, από φόβο μήπως τον αναγνωρίσουν. Το βράδυ της ίδιας μέρας ακολουθεί ακόμα ένα τραγούδι από τον Δημόδοκο, που τραγουδά για τον Δούρειο Ίππο. Ο Οδυσσέας, αυτή τη φορά, δεν μπορεί να κρύψει τα συναισθήματά του καικλαίει με αναφιλητά. Τότε ο Αλκίνοος του ζητά να αποκαλύψει την πραγματική του ταυτότητα και τον ρωτάει γιατί θρηνεί.2021-03-2649 min
Vrije geluiden op NPO KlassiekDe Boom van Muzikale InvloedenComponist Brechtje van Dijk is een van de leden van een onlangs opgerichte werkgroep (van componistenvereniging Nieuw Geneco) die de nieuwe muziek in ons land diverser en inclusiever wil gaan maken. Brechtje vertelt in deze uitzending over hun eerste project: het in kaart brengen van de muzikale inspiratiebronnen van de in Nederland werkzame componisten. De resultaten van het onderzoek, waar al honderd componisten aan hebben meegewerkt, wordt gepresenteerd in ‘De Boom van Muzikale invloeden’: een grafisch kunstwerk van Mees Joachim en een website, waarop ruimte komt voor debat.
