I was so impressed with the way the Room 5 students handled themselves. They were able to explain their learning to the teachers and demonstrate the great things they can do with computers. During one visit Je Gyong and Courtney decided to interview some teachers about their first impressions of our school.

In Room 5 at Pine Hill School this term we have been looking at writing poetry. We read lots of books and poems by Margaret Mahy and practiced playing with words and sentences to create feelings. Next we learnt about how to take effective digital photos, looking at frames, line, light and colour. We then put all this learning together as a vodcast. Broadcast live on Hills AM in Dunedin - Our first show!
This is the first podcast of Room 5 at Pine Hill School. We recorded this live at Hills AM Radio Station in Dunedin and had a great time preparing for the show. We were encouraged by KPE and Room 208 podcasts. The best thing about this podcast is that our public speaking has improved so much!
