भारत ने पिछले 24 घंटों में कोरोनावायरस संक्रमण के 45,903 नए मामलों की सूचना दी। देश में अब तक कोरोना संक्रमण के 85,53,657 मामले आए है। 490 नई मौतों के साथ, देश में मृत्यु का आंकड़ा 1,26,611 हो गया। पिछले 24 घंटों में 2,992 मामलों में कमी के बाद कुल 5,09,673 सक्रिय मामले हैं। कुल 79,17,373 बीमारी से ठीक हो गए हैं, जबकि पिछले 24 घंटों में 48,405 लोगों को छुट्टी दी गई है।
राष्ट्रीय ग्रीन ट्रिब्यूनल ने एनसीआर के सभी जिलों में पटाखों पर बैन लगा दिया है। यह बन उन शहरों पर भी है जहाँ पर हवा की क्वालिटी ख़राब या बदतर है। यह बैन 9 नवम्बर से 30 नवम्बर तक रहेगा। पटाखों पर प्रतिबंध बढ़ते वायु प्रदूषण को देखते हुए लगाया गया है।
