The Act made Relationship Education (RE) a mandatory school subject in all primary schools for children between 5 and 11. That number is considerably high since Muslims make up only 4% of the general population.
Among the many offences for which they were convicted, drugs offences contributed to 35% of Muslims being imprisoned. This is an alarming statistic and requires our attention. Tenable solutions need to be found and these issues must be addressed.
