Mike's choice, MURDER MY SWEET (1944), is one of the first examples of film noir, and its success--along with DOUBLE INDEMNITY from the same year--added the spark that set off late 40s film noir explosion. It's also a way stoney and a total gateway drug to classic cinema with its snappy dialog and its trippy AF hallucination sequences. Former song-and-dance man Dick Powell plays...

Oriskany Battlefield is a state park that can be reached by going east of Rome, Oneida County, by around five miles. A significant battle transpired here in August 1777, where many men died from both sides of the Revolutionary War. Their decision came after a ruling in Kamloops court in 2018 that the cattle company had to allow access to those two lakes. Stoney Lake Reflections Special Presentation
A modern take on a YMCA Storer Camps legend. As old as fire, gathering together and sharing oral traditions hve been an important part of almost every culture. Such traditions evolve, change, and adapt as permutations occur through time and the re-telling. There are several versions of this story that have been shared through the years. The Stoney Lake Reflections Project recorded this version to mend a break in the chain of this storytelling tradition. Now Alumni and friends can enjoy this as a piece of nostalgic 'recorded history' and current staff can ref...
