Nach der U19 Bayernliga wechselte er in die Regionalliga zu Türkgücü München und stieg mit der Mannschaft in die 3. Liga. Dann ging es weiter zum 1. FC Nürnberg in die 2. Liga. Eine Saison später kam das Angebot vom VFL Wolfsburg, wo er nun in der 1. Bundesliga spielt.
