Anime Phenomenological Reduction，即《动漫现象学还原》是一首为混合唱诗班(动漫声音)设计的作品。合唱团通过从现有的动画中采样声音(参考音高分析的乐谱)，并复制它们来模仿声音。演出中可使用任何音响设备或装置。
通过同时发声从现有动画中采样的多个不同的台词，单词的含义被丢失，并且“动画”的听觉表征(声音对象)被呈现出来。

动画《凉宫春日的忧郁》2009年版，第12话~第19话的《无尽的8月》(原作:“凉宫春日系列”第5卷“凉宫春日的暴走”中，描写了主人公和伙伴们在暑假的2周时间里重复“15532次”，“时间循环”的SF内容。动画全8话，2个月里每回都是同样的故事。每周重复这样的实验手法持续，在观众之间掀起了赞成和反对两种意见的话题。
