Marshall County is home to a lot of history... but one of the lesser known stories of Marshall is our history with myotonic (aka fainting) goats. Chapter 3: Echoes of Connelly
One location in Lewisburg served the community as a site for the education of Marshall County students for over 100 years. From a run of private schools, to the birthplace of Marshall County High School.... However, most know this location as Connelly Middle School. The History Club investigated what made Connelly so special to so many in Lewisburg, but perhaps the best evidence is to just listen to stories that happened in the old hallways and classrooms. The memories and stories tell a history of a building that made an impact on so many people that spent time there learning...

Chapter 2: ”Legendary”
Legendary... it can mean so many different things. For the group of young men and coaches who suited up in the blue and white football uniforms in 1984 for the Marshall County Tigers, the idea of being Lengendary was probably the furthest word from their minds. However, in striving for excellence, pushing themselves, and playing the kind of hard nosed defense that could both excite their crowd, as well as silence their opponent's crowd... these Tigers may have found themselves worthy of legend. Bob Edens, Joe George, Jeff Lyttle, Danny Pickle, and Keith Stacey joined the History Club to help...
