Veterans Memorial Stadium was built for a mere $65,000, which was big money in 1950. In its first years of existence the stadium seated 5,000 Trojan fans. Today, it can hold six times that number.

And, sitting across from the Rosa Parks Museum, Montgomery's Davis Theatre for the Performing Arts was known as the Paramount Theatre, when it opened in 1930. Producer Hans Ng reports that with a new name and owner, the theatre has a new role in the community.
