— 2024.10.20 sun. ▷ 地點|金山、萬里、石門、三芝等地 ▷ 官網|福爾摩沙北海岸藝術季 ▷ 參展藝術家|(依姓氏英文字母序) 陳麒任 CHEN Chi-Jen 陳肇驊 CHEN Zhao-Hua 鄭琬蒨 CHENG Wan-Chien 江慧琳 CHIANG Hui-Lin 洪韵婷+蔡坤霖 HUNG Yun-Ting+TSAI Kuen-Lin 李珮瑜 LEE Pei-Yu 李勇志 LEE Yung-Chih 李承亮 LI Cheng-Liang 李慈湄 LI Tzi-Mei 林資芬 LIN Tzu-Fen 劉致宏 LIU Chih-Hung 劉子平 LIU Zi-Ping 呂沐芢 LU Mu-Jen 石孟鑫 SHIH Meng-Shin 王秀茹 WANG Hsiu-Ju 太認真(郭柏俞+佘文瑛) Working Hard (KUO Po-Yu+SHE Wen-Ying) 姚瑞中 YAO Jui-Chung ▷ 合作串連|(依姓氏英文字母序) 簡俊成+復興高中 CHIEN Chun-Cheng+Fushin Highschool 羅景中+金山中學 LUO Jing-Zhong+Jinshan Highschool 虹橋民宿X楊景堯 Rainbow Bridge B&B X YANG Chine-Yao 子隆山房 TESA Creative Center 浪金山 Wave In Jinshan 山崎亮 YAMAZAKI Ryo 陽住國際山海藝術中心 Yangzhu International Art Center ⁞⁞⁞ 策展人資訊 ⁞⁞⁞ ▷ 劉俊蘭 LIU Chu-Lan |國立臺灣藝術大學雕塑學系教授兼美術學院院長 ▷ 游崴 YU Wei|藝評人、國立臺灣藝術大學雕塑學系助理教授 ⁞⁞⁞ 本集特別感謝 ⁞⁞⁞ ▷ 指導單位|交通部觀光署 ▷ 主辦單位|交通部觀光署北海岸及觀音山國家風景區管理處 ▷ 承辦單位|朱銘美術館 ▷ 節目製作單位|浪金山 Wave In Jinshan ▎關於浪金山 從內容企劃及地方設計,在風土及訪談地方小人物,帶出金山底蘊。 -- Hosting provided by SoundOn

Season 1 Episode 12
In this final episode of our first season, Edward Vickers talks to Prof. Lin Tzu-Bin of National Taiwan Normal University’s College of Education about one of the most ambitious - and contentious - education policies to be introduced in Taiwan in recent years: the Bilingual Education Policy. Introduced by the current administration of the Democratic Progressive Party (民進黨 or DPP) in 2018, the policy aims to transform Taiwan into a ‘Bilingual Nation’ by 2030. Positioning himself as a constructive critic, Professor Lin has become one of Taiwan’s leading public commentators on this bilingual education initiative. In this conversation, he and Ed begi...

Homogenous visions of identity and nationhood sit uneasily alongside notions of citizenship that embrace cultural and ethnic diversity. In many societies, rising inequality feeds fear and resentment of immigrants, and legacies or memories of empire and colonialism have also fuelled resentment of foreign interference or ‘hegemony’.
