Radio HorzelnestAflevering 51: GrensverkenningenIn aflevering 51 van Radio Horzelnest schuiven Kester Freriks en Martijn Storms aan. Met deze twee heren ga ik in gesprek over hun boek: ‘Grensverkenningen. Langs oude grenzen in Nederland’ (2022), verschenen bij Athenaeum. Een rijkelijk geïllustreerd met historische kaarten afkomstig uit de zogeheten Collectie Bodel Nijenhuis. De verzamelaar Johannes Tiberius Bodel Nijenhuis schonk zijn uitgebreide cartografische collectie aan de Leidse universiteit. Tegenwoordig bevindt deze kaartencollectie zich in de Universitaire Bibliotheken Leiden. De hoofdconservator Garrelt Verhoeven benaderde Martijn en Kester met de vraag om een boek te schrijven over deze bijzondere collectie.
