Smartfm MakassarWaspada Varian Baru Covid – 19Makassar - Varian virus corona baru yang bernama MU kini mulai terdeteksi muncul di 40 negara. Ahli Epidemiologi pun meyakini, varian MU juga akan masuk ke Indonesia seperti varian sebelumnya.
Menurut Epidemiolog Universitas Hasanuddin Profesor Ridwan Amiruddin, karakteristik MU memiliki daya tular hampir setara dengan varian delta. Hanya saja, MU diketahui lebih mampu beradaptasi.
