There is once incident, however, which is solely based on Neelkantha and although it is not mentioned in BORI CE, it no way contradicts BORI CE references.
The chapter narrates the tale of Drona gurukul, the asharam which was the first school for most of the warriors who participated in the great battle of Kurukshetra from either side. This included Kurus, Vrishinis, Andhakas and Radhey Karna. However, todays chapter is based on that super hero who was favorite of both his guru (Teacher) and God (Krishna) — Arjuna, the "Nara" of Mahabharata.

पर क्या आपको वास्तव में ही लगता है कि एक पारिवारिक कलह के युद्ध को भगवान धर्मयुद्ध बताएंगे? क्या वास्तव में उन्होंने ने गीता अर्जुन को उसे युद्ध में संमलित होने के लिए सुनाया था? क्या परित्रणाय साधू नमः विनश्चयस दुष्टकरताम धर्म संस्थापनए संभावमी युगे युगे का कोई अर्थ नहीं था?

Mahabharata Ek Khoj — Decoding the authentic epic with Vivek Dutta Mishraदो वृक्षों के मध्य स्थित सम्पूर्ण महाभारतआज चलते हैं महाभारत के प्रथम अध्याय के आरंभ में जहाँ व्यास मूल गाथा का बड़े ही सुंदर रूप में संक्षेपण करते हैं — दो वृक्ष के सवरूप में। महाभारत के महत्वपूर्ण किरदारों को दो वृक्षों में विभक्त कर दिया गया है। उनमे से एक को व्यास जी ने कहा धर्मवृक्ष युधिष्ठिर। व्यास जी ने धर्म, ब्रह्म, ब्राह्मण और कृष्ण को इसका जड़ बताया है, अर्जुन को इसका मुख्य तना, भीमसेन इसकी टहनियाँ और माद्री पुत्र नकुल-सहदेव इसके पुष्प व फल। इसके विरुद्ध खड़ा था क्रोध और वासना से परिपूर्ण वृक्ष, दुराचारी दुष्ट दुर्योधन। इस वृक्ष का जड़ है दुर्बुद्धि राजा धृतराष्ट्र। दुर्योधन के दुष्ट मित्र कर्ण को इस पाप वृक्ष का मुख्य तना बतलाया गया है, शकुनि इसकी टहनी और दुःशासन इसकी पुष्प,और पत्तियां।
कदाचित व्यास जी का ये व्याख्यान प्रेरित है स्वयं भगवान श्री कृष्ण के उस वक्तव्य से जो उद्योग पर्व के संजय यान पर्व में उल्लेखित हैं। श्री कृष्ण ने इन दो वृक्षों की चर्चा स्वयं संजय से की थी। दोनों उल्लेख एक सा ही है जो इस बात की ओर इंगित करता है कि व्यास जी ने श्री कृष्ण के वचनों के महत्व का ध्यान रखते हुए इसकी चर्चा महागाथा के आरंभ में ही कर दिया।
एक तरह से देखा जाए तो ये दो वृक्ष सम्पूर्ण महाभारत की पूर्ण व्याख्या हैं। धर्म-अधर्म का परिचय, उनमें महत्वपूर्ण किरदारों का स्थान। एक तरह से यदि आप महाभारत को ही एक महान वृक्ष मान लें तो व्याख्या उस वृक्ष का जड़ मना जा सकता है। और यही कारण है कि अगर महाभारत पर आघात करना हो तो इस व्याख्या पर आघात करना अनिवार्य हो जाएगा। यदि धर्म-अधर्म के अंतर को गौण कर महाभारत के मूल सिख को चुनौती देनी हो तो आघात के लिए इससे अधिक मर्म स्थल मिलन निश्चय ही मुस्किल होगा।

Storian Hindiदिव्यास्त्र का वो असली स्वरूप जिसे आपको किसी ने बताया नहींआज के कथाकार, चाहे वो उपन्यासकार हों अथवा टीवी धारावाहिक व सिनेमा के निर्देशक, कदाचित दिव्यास्त्र के महत्ता को समझ ही न सके। उनकी माने तो पौराणिक काल के दिव्यास्त्र आज के पक्षेपास्त्र अथवा परमाणु अस्त्रों के आद्य सवरूप रहे थे, या किसी विशेष प्रकार के रसायनयुक्त तीर या कोई जादुई अस्त्र जो धनुष की प्रत्यंचा खींचने मात्र से प्रगट हो जाती थी। वस्तुतः ये सारी कल्पनाएं सिरे से ही निराधार हैं और प्राचीन प्रामाणिक संदर्भों से मेल नहीं खाते हैं।दिव्यास्त्र आज के आयुधों की भांति रसायन या भौतिक उर्जा से परिपूर्ण कोई विनाश-मृत्यु के औजार नहीं थे, दिव्य थे, चेतन थे, सूक्ष्म थे। उनकी महत्ता विनाश की परिधि बढ़ाने में नहीं कम करने में थी। महाभारत के युद्ध के उपरांत भय वो क्रोध से भरे अश्वाथामा ब्रह्मास्त्र का संधान करते हैं। उनका लक्ष्य होता है देवी उत्तरा के गर्भ में पोषित हो रहा एक शिशु। ध्यान दें सम्पूर्ण पांडव शिविर नहीं, उत्तरा भी नहीं, उसकी गर्भ में पल रहा शिशु मात्र! और उस वक्त अश्वथामा वहाँ से कोसों दूर था। क्या आज के कोई भी अस्त्र ऐसा करतब दिखला सकते हैं? भयानक विनाश नहीं, एक अति सूक्ष्म नियंत्रित संधान?आइए समझने की कोशिश करते हैं दिव्यास्त्र का वो वास्तविक स्वरूप जो आजके ज्यादातर कथाकार की कल्पना से छूट गया। इस स्वरूप के बारे में और अधिक जानने के लिए पढ़ें https://thelostepic.com/amazon #The Mahabharata Project#Mahabharata#Divyastra#महाभारत #दिव्यास्त्र #महाभारत-प्रोजेक्ट #stroian 2022-02-1423 min
