Crucifying flesh begins with renewing our minds through the Word of God and the guidance of the Holy Spirit and obedience. We must tame our tongues and allow the Holy Spirit to reveal the words, deeds, and behaviors that don't align up with the Word and his ways. It is an inside job and a surrendering of the old and embracing the new.
