In 2018, Georgia Taylor-Brown burst onto the World triathlon stage, finishing 3rd overall in the WTS standings, after podiums in Leeds, Edmonton and Montreal. It was a surprise to many, but as a teenager, she had already been crowned Junior World Duathlon Champion and twice Junior European Triathlon Champion. But then her name went off the radar for a few years as she battled with injuries.
