NVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang stated at Citadel Securities’ “2025 Global Market Outlook” forum that U.S. export controls have forced NVIDIA to “completely exit China,” calling it a loss of one of the world’s largest markets.
Huang described two trillion-dollar markets defining the future of AI: “Agentic AI,” which augments digital labor, and “Physical AI,” which enhances real-world productivity through autonomous systems like driverless cars.
Addressing U.S.-China tech tensions, Huang urged Washington to “step back and return to first principles,” emphasizing that the real competition lies in winning developers. He noted that China hosts roughly half of the world’s AI researchers and innovation capacity. “Preventing Chinese researchers from building on U.S. technology is a mistake,” he said.
Although NVIDIA’s business in China has effectively dropped to zero, Huang said the company will continue engaging with the U.S. government and assisting Chinese firms in optimizing existing hardware. “The future of AI depends on openness and cooperation,” he concluded. “Excessive restrictions will ultimately harm everyone.”

震驚全台的2013年黃麟凱殺人案，今（16）日晚間由法務部正式執行死刑，犯案時年僅20歲的黃麟凱因不滿與女友分手，並對女友要求歸還交往期間約9萬元的娛樂費心生怨恨，趁軍中放假期間進行預謀犯案。他攜帶童軍繩、頭套與手套潛入女友家中，先勒斃女友母親，接著強制性侵返家的女友，並以繩索將其勒斃。事後，他甚至偷走家中現金及訂情戒指，行徑令人髮指。
黃麟凱在一、二審均被判處死刑，後遭最高法院撤銷發回重審。更一審維持原判，但他仍提起上訴，最終於2017年全案定讞。時隔8年，法務部長鄭銘謙簽署死刑執行令，黃麟凱成為賴清德政府上任以來首名被執行死刑的死囚，也是台灣司法史上最年輕的死刑犯。
受害者家屬王爸爸表示，明天是女兒生日，司法給了他們一個交代，等了近12年的正義終於實現。他感慨道：「終於還我們公道，惡人有惡報。」此案也再度引發社會對於死刑議題的廣泛討論。

Huang Lin-Kai Executed: Justice Finally Delivered for Victims' Families
The shocking 2013 murder case involving Huang Lin-Kai has come to a conclusion with his execution on January 16th. At just 20 years old, Huang premeditated the brutal killings of his ex-girlfriend and her mother after being enraged by their breakup and her demand to repay around NT$90,000 in entertainment expenses. During a military leave, Huang entered the victim's home equipped with a scout rope, gloves, and a mask. He strangled the victim's mother, sexually assaulted his ex-girlfriend upon her return, and then killed her by strangulation. He also stole cash and a promise ring before fleeing.
Despite being sentenced to death in the first and second trials, Huang's case was sent back for retrial by the Supreme Court. The death sentence was reaffirmed in the retrial, but Huang appealed again. The case was finalized in 2017, and eight years later, Minister of Justice Tseng Ming-Chien signed the execution order. This marks the first execution under Premier Lai Ching-Te's administration, with Huang being Taiwan's youngest death row inmate in history.
