Today we will be talking about “Fashion and our relationships with our body/appearance”. All of us go through changes in appearance through our life, some grow really tall, some gain weight while others lose weight, some become muscular while others become tanned and maybe some of you might have gotten an injury/scar in a revealing place. When your appearance changes, do you also change the way you dress? Is that in a positive way where you got more confident and was able to dress any way you wanted? Or is it in a way where you wanted to start hiding some parts of your body and couldn’t really dress freely? I used to wear really short skirts and tank tops when I was in my early twenties, but after gaining 15kgs, I started to stop doing that (even though I liked that kind of fashion) and started to hide all parts of my body and fashion was based more on hiding then expressing. Since last year, I started to intentionally wear shorts again and im still currently in the rehabilitation process!!2021-08-2936 min

ME TIME during QUARANTINE! A few months ago, Hannah went back to the UK so she went through 2 weeks of quarantine at her house, and Yuna went to Sri Lanka at the end of April so I did two weeks of quarantine at a hotel, and then unintentionally had to go through 2 weeks of lockdown, and then another 2 weeks of quarantine back in Japan at a tiny hotel. SO, since probably more people will be going in and out of Japan for business or family matters, and even without the travels, obviously many of you are staying at home more than usual so we thought we’d share HOW we spent our time during quarantine. 2021-08-0135 min

６月２３日、日本では再び別姓婚が最高裁で認められず、現状が合憲とみなされました。私たちは、選択的夫婦別姓には賛成していて、心底実現することを願っていたのでとても残念でした。
Here in Japan, when we get married one of us has to change our surname to the others, and usually 99percent would be the women changing to the men’s name. It’s not allowed by law to have different surnames and Japan has even had the UN asking to change the law but still, once again it got denied. Personally we’ve been waiting and waiting for this to change so we can choose whether to keep our surnames or not, so it was super disappointing. 2021-07-0433 min

YOU DO YOU#15 Setting Goals / 目標設定今回のテーマは「目標設定」。皆さんは、仕事・学業・趣味・人生のおける「計画」「ゴール」などは事細かに設定するタイプですか？Hannahは、仕事や人生の計画はきっちりと企てて、趣味に関しては目標設定はしないタイプ。Yunaは、その逆で、仕事や人生に関しては大まかなことだけ決めて細かい計画は一切せず、ランニングや筋トレに関しては事細かに計画するタイプ。二人とも経営者ですが、仕事の環境や内容の違いからも、目標設定に関する考え方が正反対！どちらが正解ということはなく、いずれにせよ自分自身に合っていて、ハッピーになれる方法がベスト！
Do you like setting goals? If so, is it for work, life, or hobbies?? Hannah is super organized with planning goals for work by using SMART goals and cute stationaries, but prefers not to set goals for hobbies. We talked about body positivity in this episode as we find it so hard to embrace our own body, especially here in Japan. It's so important to cherish your own self and to be kind like you would to a friend, but at the same time it's so difficult when we have "noises" from mass media, social media, friends, boyfriends/girlfriends, and so on.
