Amanda Nikolic bin ich zum ersten Mal 2001 begegnet. In der Lounge vom Kaufleuten in Zürich. Zusammen mit Tiffany, Romina und Evelyn. Hier wurde mir als Radioreporter für Radio Z die neue Schweizer Girlie-band TEARS vorgestellt. Und Amanda war das A in TEARS
Die Band gab es bis 2004. Doch auch danach verlor ich Amanda nicht aus den Augen. Sie machte ihren Weg auch ohne TEARS und ist heute eine wohlbeachtete sehr gute Fotografin geworden. Eine "singende Fotografin", wie sie im Interview betont.

Das Schweizer Privat-Radio hat wenig Radiolegenden. Eine davon ist sicher Jürg Hofer. Angefangen hat er beim Radio 24, wo sie Anfangs der 80er-Jahre noch Piraten in Como waren, aufgehört hat er Jahre später beim ebenfalls legendären Radio Z in Zürich. Unfreiwillig. Weil das Radio von deutschen Beratern saniert wurde, musste Jürg Hofer gehen. Er war dem Sender zu alt. Dabei bewegte er während fast 20 Jahren eine ganze Nation.
