札幌市豊平区の商業施設で行われたイベントでは、UHBの中村剛大アナウンサーと石野智子アナウンサーが子どもたちに絵本を読み聞かせました。
考え方のヒントがつまった絵本や心温まる絵本のほか、子どもに大人気の図鑑などが感情豊かに読み上げると、子どもたちは絵本の世界に引き込まれるように聞き入っていました。
