Д-р Десислава Безинска-Шеинкова e завършила бакалавърска степен по „Психология“ и магистърска – „Психология на управлението“. Доктор е по „Психология на труда и професионална психодиагностика“ към ЮЗУ „Неофит Рилски“ – Благоевград. Член е на Дружество на психолозите в България (ДПБ) и координатор на дружеството за югозападна България, сертифицирана от университета в Северна Каролина с лектор Барбара Фредриксън в „Позитивна психология“. Обучена и сертифицирана в направление „Позитивна психотерапия“ и „Хипноза и хипнотерапия“. Член на Българска Асоциация по Хипноза (БАХ), както и член на Дружество по Позитивна Психотерапия (ДППБ). Член е и на Европейската асоциация по приложна психология. През февруари 2022 г. д-р Шеинкова отвори Център за работа с хазартна зависимост "Психоника" в София, където се провеждат консултации и индивидуални терапии с хазартно зависими, техни близки, както и групи за помощ и взаимопомощ. Написала е и книга – "Заложен живот", в която описва какъв е пътят на спасението на човек, страдащ от хазартна зависимост. През тази година Европейската асоциация по приложна психология е одобрила програма на д-р Шеинкова, по която ще обучават психолози да работят по проблема.
