Jazzfestivalen 2021TUHAF på BoulevardenVi mødtes med Kristian Haarløv & Berrin Bas fra det Dansk / Tyrkiske band TUHAF til en snak ved en af Absalon's farvede borde ude på Boulevarden. Ved de farvede borde, med en kop kaffe i hånden, snakkede vi lidt om livet som musiker og de udfordringer der følger med.
I løbet af samtalen kom vi ind på lidt af hvert. Det gamle Palæ, der plejede at husere skydeglade aristokrater, der stod i baghaven og skød ud i mod muren der nu ligger i skydebanegade, er i dag blevet lavet om til musikalsk samlepunkt.

Her mødte vi ejeren bag stedet Mia Schlytter, der startede med at besøge det som gæst men endte med at købe stedet for en del år tilbage.
Vi fik os en snak over morgenkaffen med Mia om hvad Drop Inn er for et sted, hvorfor hun står der bag baren med en ambition om at have live musik hver dag og hvorfor det er særligt for hende at forvalte det næsten 100 år gamle sted. Vi mødte de mange søde passionerede mennesker bag Alice der løb rundt i deres lyserøde T-Shirts og gjorde klar til dagens koncert. De havde nemlig inviteret den ægyptiske producer og musiker Maurice Louca til at spille for os i den bagende sol.
