On this episode, I had the pleasure of talking with special return guest Adrienne Allende as she discussed living with Lupus. Adrienne Allendene, the owner of Aces Custom Clothing, was diagnosed with Lupus at 31 after going to the E.R. It turned into a seven-week stay during which she suffered from kidney failure and lung problems. She also needed chemotherapy, had a blood transfusion, and had heart and liver problems. After being told she had five years to live because of complications in 2006, 14 years later, not only did she survive, she is thriving!
