• 今天的來賓本來英文名字叫 Kevin，某天有感而發覺得不能再叫 Kevin，改一個有點瀟灑的名字 Leon
• 本以為換了名字可以脫胎換骨，殊不知 email 沒換導致所有人還是叫他 Kevin，為了怕大家搞錯，只好在 Line 上面打成 Leon （Kevin）
• 所以到底是 Kevin 還是 Leon？
▍ Leon 曲折的職場生涯
• Leon 將自己定義為「持續在摸索方向的宅宅工程師」，求學跟職涯過程繞了許多路
• 大學念的是土木工程，畢業後先後在運動產業、多媒體、公務員、半導體業遊走，現在回到土木技師
• 對 Leon 的職涯來說，重點不是追求「喜歡」的路，而是勇敢嘗試「不討厭」的路，做到發現自己無法接受這個領域後，就會繼續找其他方向
• 不停地轉換看似是種逃避，但自己也坦承地接受這個事實
▍ 放下與放棄的一線之隔
• EP 54 「是學習，還是放下？」其實就是受 Leon 的啟發而錄的。當時 Leon 向我們提出，要讓人生更快樂的重點是要學會放下，與他探索職涯的方法一致
• 那放下與放棄的差別，到底是什麼？Leon 認為，最重要的是有沒有「悔恨感」。放棄時心中會帶著惋惜，放下則是知道自己已經盡力了，可以 move on
▍ 台積電的工作經驗
• 公務員做得太無聊，想不開跑去台積電，每天工時從 3 小時跳到 13 小時
• 本來是想讓人生不要留白，沒到一進去人生只剩下黑白
• 收入確實很好，但裡面的人拼命想出去，外面的人拼命想進來
▍ 不停轉換跑道真的不好嗎？
• Leon 曾經也為了不停轉換跑道而自我質疑，但後來也體悟到，其實每段經歷都有它值得帶到往後人生的意義
• 在運動產業學到的溝通、在半導體學到的專案管理，都在現在的工作當中有所幫助
• 絕大多數的人都在大學時不確定未來想做什麼，甚至真的去做了也不見得確定這就是自己想要的，但又覺得轉換跑道的代價感覺很高
• 如同 Steve Jobs 所說的：＂You can only connect the dots looking backwards＂，沒有任何經歷會是沒用的，我們只是要從這些經驗中獲得一些東西，變成更好的人
▍ 學會放慢
• EP 56 中 Jett & Alex 探討了從 20 歲想要幹大事，到 30 歲慢下腳步的心境轉變
• 想要成功，必須要有遇到好機會的運氣、辨別好機會的判斷、以及抓住機會的能力，三者缺一不可
• 著急著成功而不可得，反而給自己過多的壓力。因此我們更該學會放慢，用更均衡的方式，照顧到人生中重要的每個面向
▍ 職涯該用熱情選嗎？
• 《深度職場力》這本書給了 Alex 很大的啟發，也許我們不該為了尋找「有熱忱」的工作而煩惱
• 真正讓你有熱忱的職涯很少見，與其為了追尋而煩惱，更應該磨練出有價值的技能，用這些技能換取更多的收入、資源、空閒時間，才會更快樂
