اینقدر این چند وقت اخیر خوابهای عجیب و غریب دیدهام که دیگر حسابش از دستم در رفته. پیش از این خوابهایم را در دفترچهای مینوشتم. هر چه در ذهنم از خواب مانده بود، مینوشتم. هفتهای، دو هفتهای یکبار صفحاتی از آن دفترچه سیاه میشد. امّا الآن دیگر خوابهایم روزانه شده. نشستم خوب به این قضیه فکر کردم. دلیلش چه میتواند باشد. فروید میگوید زبانِ ناخودآگاه انسان در دو حوزه آشکار میشود: یکی خواب و دیگری هنر. خواب و هنر شبیه یکدیگر عمل میکنند زیرا هر دو برای روایت کردن روانِ انسان از نماد استفاده میکنند. فروید گفته که آرزوها، سرکوبها و ترسها از بین نمیروند بل که به صورت نمادین در خواب ارضا میشوند.
