Welcome back and thanks for being here with us. Today we will be reading and meditating on God speaking to Jacob and changing his name to Israel. In Psalm 35 David wants God to help him by taking up a shield and defending him but David also is praising God for all He has done so far. Then in Mark 7, Jesus calls out the Pharisees as hypocritical in their traditions that they made up and impose on people.
