This 1904 Ritual Explains Why The World Seems Strange Today
What happened inside the Great Pyramid in 1904, and why is it still affecting culture today in (almost) 2026? On March 16, 1904, Aleister Crowley performed an ancient ritual in the King's Chamber of the Great Pyramid of Giza. Three weeks later, an entity dictated The Book of the Law, and its central teaching would echo through the 20th century into today: "Do what thou wilt."This documentary traces the thread from that pyramid ritual to the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Tool, and beyond, and asks what the Bible says about the knowledge hidden in ancient Egypt.

1904 Olympic Marathon
The men's marathon at the 1904 Summer Olympics in St. Louis was one of the oddest moments in the sport’s history. Officials ran the race during the hottest part of the day and purposely limited the water the 32 participants could have. Men would ride in cars for the part of the race, get chased by wild dogs, become violently ill, and suffer hallucinations. One man even fell unconscious and nearly died. This is the story of the 1904 Men’s Olympic Marathon. The Terrible Toll of the Norge (1904)
On July 5th, 1904, the New York Times wrote: “In the number of its victims, the terrible wreck of the Danish steamer Norge off the coast of the stormy Hebrides comes near to that of the General Slocum in the placid waters of the East River. No disaster so extensive has happened on the high seas for many years, to remind men that there remains perils of the deep which human science has not yet succeeded in completely dispelling.” Ship Name: Norge Year Built: 1881 Tonnage: 3310 Ship Type: Iron Hulled Steamship ...

It’s the end of the year, so it's time for a World's Fair episode! In 1904 the attention of the world turned to St Louis, which held a massive and, of course, controversial World's Fair (because why else would we be talking about it!). In the middle of the Fair they even held the 3rd *ever* Olympic Games, which included a marathon that actually served as one of the most horrific and unethical medical experiments on human beings without their consent or knowledge. Perhaps not shockingly, once you hear the story, this was also *almost* the last Olympic marathon ever. Go...

The 1904 St. Louis Marathon, The Wildest Event In Olympic History
Marathons today follow a simple formula. There's a starting line and a finish line, a crowd of excited and apprehensive racers, and a clear course to follow. But the 1904 Olympic Marathon took some unexpected turns, in more ways than one. From the moment the starting gun went off a few minutes after three pm on August 30, the race got even wilder. Preceded by horses meant to clear the road, and followed by cars to monitor the race, the runners were instantly choked by swirling, dry dust. This, the heat of the Missouri day, and the lack of w...

Our girl Tiffany came through and laid it down! having a mind boggling childhood and moving a thousand times set her up to avoid her addiction until later in life. But it only takes one. The 1904 Olympic Marathon: History‘s Most Ridiculous Race
The 1904 Olympic marathon is remembered as history’s most bizarre race. Running in tandem with the St. Louis World’s Fair, or the Louisiana Purchase Exposition, the 1904 Olympics were the first games hosted by the US. Given the disorganization, poor international turnout, and competition with the World Fair’s 20 million visitors, the 1904 games were perhaps doomed before they started. But no single event would ever compare with the absurd chaos of the marathon. From wild dogs to a professional clown on performance enhancing drugs, this race had it all. We also delve into the history of the ancien...

Wild dogs, poison, cheating and dust wreaked havoc with the runners and it's surprising anyone managed to finish let alone win!Join me today for another Macabre Mini Mystery as I delve into the 1904 Olympic Marathon.*I made a few geographical mistakes in the video (was concentrating on the story, not the place, oops!)
