Im kleinen Ort Dürrenäsch im schweizerischen Kanton Aargau verunglückt eine Caravelle der Swissair. Der Airliner war unterwegs von Zürich nach Genf, von aus er nach Rom weiterfliegen sollte. An Bord waren unter anderem 43 von 130 Einwohnern des kleinen Dorfes Humlikon bei Zürich.

Am 4. Oktober 1992 stürzt ein Boeing 747-Frachter der israelischen Fluggesellschaft EL AL kurz nach dem Start vom Flughafen Schiphol in Amsterdam in zwei Wohnblöcke im Viertel Bijlmermeer. 43 Menschen sterben bei der Katastrophe.

Flugforensik - Abstürze und ihre GeschichteTödliches System - die Katastrophen der Boeing 737 MAXEs ist eine schier unerträgliche Geschichte: 346 Menschen sind bei zwei Abstürzen in den Jahren 2018 und 2019 gestorben, die durch ein Computersystem in der Boeing 737 MAX mitverursacht wurden.
Der erste Absturz ereignete sich am 29. Oktober 2018, als eine Maschine der Lion Air in Indonesien abstürzte, nur viereinhalb Monate später stürzte eine weitere Boeing 737 MAX 8 der Ethiopian Airlines ab am 10. März 2019. Dieser Absturz jährt sich in diesem März zum fünften Mal.
