Episode 5: Black Activism ft. Ms. Pashondra James
I selected Mrs. Pashondra James because she was recommended to me by my stepmother. She provided me with a brief background on Mrs. James’s advocacy. She has been diagnosed with multiple deficiencies specifically regarding her health, and because of that, she has gone to legislators/congress to push forth and stress the concerns of the use of pharmaceutical/medical marijuana. When I was informed by this I immediately thought about the history of African Americans vs. The Medical System in America. This is what inspired me to choose her as a primary candidate.

China and the Asia-Pacific: A Good Neighbor or an Aspiring Hegemon? In the West, when we talk about the China region, we tend to think of Taiwan. However, the broader China region, the Asia-Pacific—excluding India—is the world's largest economic area and plays a key role in China's global standing. How do China's commercial, political, and economic relations function with countries like Taiwan, Japan, and Indonesia? For example, while there is tension between Taiwan and China, Taiwan's trade and investment in China are greater than with the United States. All these i...
