Paul was not always successful in his missionary endeavors, sometimes his efforts seemed foolish but they were always necessary. Taking the dangerous road to Pisidian Antioch to share the gospel with a group of Jews in there synagogue, only to be run out of town by an angry mob was a very Pauline thing to do. He was not afraid to go to hard places and take long shots. He was a fool, but he was a fool for Christ. Sharing the gospel is often a fools errand, but like Paul we are all called to be fools for Christ.
