Mit Birgit Olzem hatten wir in Nürnberg eines der deutschen WordPress-Urgesteine zu Gast. Doch neben der einen oder andere Geschichte aus den frühen Jahren der deutschsprachigen WordPress-Community plauderten wir mit Birgit vor allem über ein sehr aktuelles Thema: die WP REST-API und ihre möglichen Auswirkungen auf das WordPress-Ökosystem.
Grundlage hierfür war Birgits Session „WordPress als App-Framework“ auf dem WordCamp Nürnberg im April 2016 – dort entstand auch dieses Interview.
