MAGAR KHAAMहरी बुढा मगर | आफ्नै खुट्टामा उभिन हिडेका , खुट्टा बिना सगरमाथा आरोहणकोआज हाम्रो पाहुना हुनुहुन्छ विश्व कृतिमानी हरि बुढा मगर जो दुईवटा घुँडामाथिबाट खुट्टा गुमाएका पहिलो व्यक्तिका रूपमा सगरमाथा आरोहण गर्नु भयो । उहाँ हाम्रो मगर खाम समुदायबाट हुनुहुन्छ, र अझ रमाइलो कुरा हामी दुबै एउटै गाउँबाट हौं! यसैले आजको पोडकास्ट झनै भावनात्मक र विशेष बन्न गएको छ र यो कुराकानी हाम्रो आफ्नै मातृभाषा, मगर खाम (मिरुले) मा गरेका छौं।यस एपिसोडमा उहाँले नेपाल सरकार विरुद्ध किन मुद्दा दिनु भयो भन्ने बारे कुराकानी गर्ने छौ, जून यो कदमले राष्ट्रिय मात्र होइन, अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय स्तरमा पनि ठूलो चर्चा पायो।आफ्नै खुट्टामा उभिन हिडेको जीवनयात्रा कसरी खुट्टा बिना सगरमाथाको शिखरसम्म पुग्यो भन्नेबारे गहिरो कुरा गरेका छौं। हाम्रो संस्कृतिमा भनिन्छ "आफ्नै खुट्टामा उभिनु" भनेको आत्मनिर्भर बन्नु हो। तर आज हरिका खुट्टा छैनन्, र पनि उहाँले संसारलाई देखाउनु भयो खुट्टाको होइन, आत्मबल र साहसले मानिस उभिन्छ। उहाँ ब्रिटिश गोरखा सैनिक हुनुहुन्थ्यो। सन् २०१० मा अफगानिस्तानमा आईईडी विस्फोट हुँदा उहाँले दुवै खुट्टा गुमाउनु भयो। उहाँको अपांगता अधिकारको वकालत, कानुनी संघर्ष, र विश्वव्यापी प्रेरणा बन्ने यात्राबारे हामीले कुराकानी गरेका छौं।Today, our guest is the world record-holder Hari Budha Magar, the first person to summit Mount Everest with both legs amputated above the knees. He comes from our Magar Khaam community, and what makes this even more special is that we both come from the same village! That’s why today’s podcast is especially emotional and meaningful — and we've had this conversation in our native language, Magar Khaam (Mirule).In this episode, we talk about why he filed a legal case against the Government of Nepal, a bold step that drew attention not just nationally, but internationally as well.We dive deep into his journey of walking toward independence — and how that very journey reached the summit of Everest without legs. In our culture, we say "to stand on your own feet" means to be self-reliant. MAGAR KHAAMलाहुरे सपना असफल देखि विश्वकै ठूलो ट्रेल दौड च्याम्पियनशिपसम्म – थवाङका मनकुमार रोका मगरको संघर्षयात्राआजको विशेष पोडकास्टमा, हामीले आमन्त्रित गरेका छौं रोल्पा जिल्लाको थवाङ गाउँबाट आउनुभएका मनकुमार रोका मगरलाई। उनी हाल 'ट्रेल रनिङ' खेलमार्फत नेपालको प्रतिनिधित्व गर्दै युरोप, कोरिया, र हङकङसम्म पुगेका छन्।मनकुमार मगर, जो मगर खाम भाषामा (थवाङी र मिरुलेमा बोलिने छ) उनका बुबाआमा दशक लामो जनयुद्धको प्रत्यक्ष साक्षी र पीडित हुन्। युद्धपश्चातको कठिन बाल्यकाल, गाउँमा हुर्कंदा भोगेका अभाव र संघर्षका कथाहरू उनको जीवनको अभिन्न हिस्सा हुन्।उनी गोर्खा सेनामा भर्ती हुने ठूलो सपना बोकेका थिए। तर, उनी छनोट भएनन्। त्यसपछि, परिवारको आर्थिक अवस्था सुधार्न विदेश जाने योजना बनाए। युरोपको महँगो भिसा शुल्क तिर्न नसक्दा गल्फ देश जाने सोच बनाए, तर समयसँगै उनको जीवनले अर्कै मोड लियो।आज उनी नेपालका केही उत्कृष्ट ट्रेल धावकहरूमध्ये एक बन्न सफल भएका छन्। युरोप, कोरिया, र हङकङमा अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय प्रतियोगितामा भाग लिइसकेका मनकुमारले अब स्पेन २०२५ मा हुने विश्वकै सबैभन्दा ठूलो अल्ट्रा म्याराथन च्याम्पियनशिपका लागि आवश्यक अंक (points) प्राप्त गरिसकेका छन्।तर अहिलेको चुनौती भनेको – कोष संकलन (fundraising) हो। विश्व च्याम्पियनशिपमा सहभागी हुन उनलाई ठूलो आर्थिक सहयोग आवश्यक छ, जुन उनले सरकार, समुदाय र देशबासीबाट अपेक्षा राखेका छन्।यो पोडकास्टमा, हामीले मनकुमारको बाल्यकाल, जनयुद्धको प्रभाव, गोर्खा प्रयास, विदेश जान लागेको कथा, र अहिलेको प्रेरणादायी ट्रेल रनिङ यात्राबारे गहिरो कुराकानी गरेका छौं। साथै, उनी भविष्यमा आफ्नो समुदायबाट नयाँ खेलाडी उत्पादन गर्ने सपना पनि बाँड्छन्।सुन्न नबिर्सनुहोस् – एउटा असफलताबाट कसरी अर्कै सफलताको बाटो खुल्छ भन्ने जीवित उदाहरण हुन्, मनकुमार रोका मगर।2025-05-0931 min
