西寺郷太 GOTOWN Podcast Club#12 2020年のエンタメを振り返る。 ～ Guest：宇野維正、金寿煥2020年最後の配信、今年のエンタメ３人の視点から振り返ります。ゲストは、映画・音楽ジャーナリストの宇野維正さん（ https://twitter.com/uno_kore ）と新潮社の編集者・金寿煥さん（ https://twitter.com/KimuSuhan ）を部室にお迎えしていきます。
ちょうど一年前は、宇野さんと田中宗一郎さんの共著「2010s」（2020年1月出版 / https://www.shinchosha.co.jp/book/353131/ ）の制作架橋でした。西寺は書評を書いているので、ゲラ（印刷所で刷られる試し刷りのこと）を受け取り読んでいたようです。日本の海外のポップカルチャーの需要が止まってしまったことを訴えかけ、その溝が埋まればと願いを込めて出された作品だが、今作以降、新型コロナウイルス感染症が加速化していき、広がっていくのではと宇野さんは見ています。映画業界は、この1年を経てガラリと変わっていくとみています。K-POPのグローバル化は楽観視できない？（楽観やK-POPの音楽がどうのこうのではなく、アジア人として世界で活躍している観点から認められていること、かっこいいと思っている世代がいること、そういう一定の層がいることを認めていくこと、自分のなかで感じることは大切だとも西寺は伝えています）いま起こっていることは、上の世代と下の世代で捉え方が違う？海外のポップカルチャーを日本で愛好するのは、大変になってくる時代が来るんじゃないか。海外のテレビシリーズの例を。2019年にディズニーはDisney+ (ディズニープラス)を始めました。（ディズニープラスは、ウォルト・ディズニー・カンパニーの公式動画配信サービス）さらに、米ワーナー・ブラザースが、2021年公開予定の全ての新作映画を、アメリカ国内で劇場公開日に合わせ、ワーナー系列の動画配信サービス「HBO Max」でも同時配信すると発表しています。これによって2021年はまた映画界は変わるとみています。映画制作陣は、同時配信することを仮定して作っている訳ではないのに、困惑しつつも怒りも感じています。果たして映画業界の今後はどうなっていくのか、上映形態などは注目していきたいポイントでもあります。
西寺と金寿煥さんは、2020年10月に松山へ旅行した話を。西寺は今年唯一、旅をしたのはこれっきりのようです。この旅の目的のひとつとして、「桃太郎伝説」を題材にしたミュージカル「鬼の鎮魂歌」（ http://news.botchan.co.jp/?eid=531 ）を鑑賞することでした。今ミュージカルは、脚本を羽原大介、演出を錦織一清が務めています。金寿煥さんとしては西寺と旅行する目的が二つあって、一つ目は、伊丹十三記念館に西寺と一緒に行く。二つ目は、伝統好きな郷太さんとともに老舗のBAR「露口（つゆぐち）」へ行くことだった。宇野さんにとっての伊丹十三作品についても伺っていきます。「マルサの女」、「お葬式」、「タンポポ」など数々の作品を世にお送り出してきた映画監督。
そこから、2020年の上映・発表作品について伺っていきます。名前が挙がっていた作品「シカゴ７裁判」（2020年に劇場公開・配信 / https://chicago7-movie.com/ ）、「マンク」（2020年に劇場公開・配信 / https://mank-movie.com/ ）。アカデミー賞へ、映画の上映数が劇的に減り、Netflixの発表作品も多くノミネートされているのも事実。「パラサイト 半地下の家族」は、今年の作品としてカウントされる？１・2月公開の作品は今年の映画？コロナ前と後の映画は捉え方が変わってくる？・・・映画はコロナ前に戻ることはないし、変革期にきていることは確か。作品の意味合いも違ってくるだろうとみています。このムードや人のテンションで見るには作品の本来の受け方が変わってきているように思えます。一方、本も書店が5月くらいまで開かない現実。夏後半〜秋にかけて、新潮社でみていくと・・・「ぼくはイエローでホワイトで、ちょっとブルー」（ブレイディみかこ・新潮社）、今年の新書ベスト1位にも輝いた「ケーキの切れない非行少年たち 」（宮口幸治・新潮新書）は去年に引き続き売れているようです。「人新世の「資本論」」（斎藤幸平・集英社新書）もオススメのよう。新潮社としては、来年に控える賞へノミネートされている作品に注目していきたいところ。「オルタネート」（加藤シゲアキ）が第164回直木賞に選出。「母影」（尾崎世界観）が第164回芥川賞の候補作に選出しています。映画・書籍においても、「鬼滅の刃」は圧倒的であり、独自のシナリオ、今の風潮（作品の分かりやすさなど）が多くの人に受け取りやすくなってきているので、幅広い世代でも分かる作品になり、共通言語になりつつあります。大衆が好んでいる作品が変化していきつつもあると感じます。最後は、「ゲーム」のジャンルもエンタメにおいて重要なポジションになっていることについても。Epic Gamesが販売・配信する、2017年に公開されたオンラインゲームの「フォートナイト（Fortnite）」とトラヴィス・スコットのバーチャルコンサート『Astronomical』（ https://youtu.be/wYeFAlVC8qU ）。D'Angeloが「レッド・デッド・リデンプションII」に新曲を提供したり・・・ゲームも話すには欠かせないひとつのエンタメとしてメキメキと成長しています。
