109 Fringeworthy
Game School talks with Bruce Sheffer lead designer for Tri Tac Games - Fringeworthy. Fringeworthy is a SciFi RPG that allows players to adventure in any world or setting. It’s a pan dimensional romp through a million million worlds. A cross between Sliders and Stargate – except it came out long before either of these properties were ever dreamed of. Bruce runs Satine through an encounter on an alternate Earth to study an Aztec temple that is still active. She will be put through the mental ringer as reality itself seems to go sideways. Will she discover the...

Episode 102: Bureau 13 through the Ages Part 2
This week we continue our exploration on how to run Bureau 13 in different eras in its history. We go from the 1920's to the future. One correction is there was 2 published artifically enhanced human pieces. The Augumented Man, Hells Night by Richard Tucholka is the best reference. The Battle Body Implants, Stalking the Steel City by Bruce Sheffer was not a complete adventure but was a character addition to Bureau 13 lore. We will be doing more elaborate podcasts on these eras in the future. Please feel free to contact us on what questions you have or areas you wish us to el...

Episode 64: Fringeworthy Actual Play
The podcast gang and my regular Fringeworthy group recorded this last summer. It includes John Reiher, Jay Hailey, John Altizer, Ken Arrondee, Erik Sheffer, and Bruce Sheffer as the GM. We did have some mike dropout problems and for some reason skype recorder compressed JR and JH by 15% which had to be fixed. However, overall I'm very pleased with this AP episode simply because it showed what I think are some of the best aspects of FW play. Please comment on the episode and let me know specifically what you liked and didn't like about the adventure design.
