臺灣萬花筒美中西部國會議員錄影齊賀雙十#俗稱武漢肺炎的2019年冠狀病毒疾病(COVID-19)疫情未歇，駐芝加哥辦事處決定今年不辦國慶酒會，處長黃鈞耀邀請美國中西部聯邦參、眾議員以錄影方式祝賀雙十，展現台美情誼，已有10位國會議員響應.響應者包括印地安納州選出的聯邦參議員布勞恩(Mike Braun)、聯邦眾議員班克斯(Jim Banks)，伊利諾州選出的聯邦眾議員辛克斯(John Shimkus)、博斯特(Mike Bost)、金辛格(Adam Kinzinger)、佛斯特(Bill Foster)及威斯康辛州選出的聯邦眾議員史戴爾(Bryan Steil)、葛羅斯曼(Glenn Grothman)、蓋拉格(Mike Gallagher)、帝芬尼(Tom Tiffany)。自5日起，駐芝加哥辦事處以每天張貼2至3則方式，在臉書與推特分享上述政要錄製的影片。 布勞恩為雙十國慶獻上祝福，並說期待強化「我們兩國重要的關係」。 駐芝加哥辦事處表示，除聯邦國會議員外，美國中西部已有超過35位地方政要以影片或照片祝賀雙十國慶，近期將陸續放上臉書與推特頁面。旅居當地的台灣音樂家和客家同鄉會應邀錄製的歌曲，也將在國慶前後上線。
#歐洲2019年冠狀病毒疾病(COVID-19，俗稱武漢肺炎)疫情升溫，愛爾蘭首都都柏林自9月26日起實施至少3週的第三級管制措施，因此駐處以預錄影片方式，從10月5日起線上慶祝國慶。10名致賀來賓以眾議員暨愛爾蘭國會友台小組主席麥金尼斯(John McGuinness)為首，他代表國會友人傳達對台灣的支持與祝賀國慶，感謝台灣代表處與僑界今年上半年對多所愛爾蘭長照機構捐贈大批個人防護抗疫裝備，並表示相信台、愛關係將越來越好。其他錄影致賀的還包括參議員麥陶威(Michael McDowell)與威爾森(Diarmuid Wilson)、愛爾蘭國立大學總校長曼寧(Maurice Manning)、基肯尼(Kilkenny)郡議長安德魯麥金尼斯(Andrew McGuinness)、愛爾蘭商界代表布雷迪(John Brady)、旅台任教的馬偕醫學院教授布列克諾克斯(Jamie Blake Knox)、在台執事的愛爾蘭神父李日新(Fr. Sean O’Leary)、都柏林中文學校校長劉淑慧與愛爾蘭台灣協會會長鄭惠文。另外，駐處表示，由於愛爾蘭文風鼎盛，為了增進各界對台灣的瞭解，代表處特別與台灣文學社團「每天為你讀一首詩」合作，選出10首跨域、跨界多面向的英譯台灣詩。此外，愛爾蘭台灣協會將在9日舉辦「愛爾蘭與台灣畫家線上畫展」，25日起則有僑務委員會支持的「台灣原住民服飾線上展」以及與愛爾蘭台灣同學會合作的「線上台灣原住民舞蹈表演」，將10月打造為「台灣月」。
