愛的凱歌 (Adore Him)Crown Him with GloryHi, 各位聽眾朋友們，平安！歡迎收聽愛的凱歌(Adore Him)，我是Judy。 在浸信會出版的聖詩《頌主新歌》一書中，將〈齊來頌讚耶穌聖名〉(“All Hail the Power of Jesus’ Name”)、〈無量讚美和榮光〉(“All Glory, Laud, and Honor”)以及〈來擁戴主為王〉(“Crown Him with Many Crowns”)這三首聖詩，分類在「尊貴榮耀」(Glory and Honor)此主題。美國現代作曲家Sandra Zylstra結合以上這三首聖詩，改編成雙鋼琴曲，並將這首改編曲命名為“Crown Him with Glory”。在聆聽由我們團隊錄製的這首改編音樂，我們先來聽聽這三首聖詩背後的創作故事與歷史。 首先，第一首聖詩〈齊來頌讚耶穌聖名〉(“All Hail the Power of Jesus’ Name”)。此聖詩的詩詞是由Edward Perronet所創作。Perronet的父親是英國聖公會的牧師。Perronet信仰的成長不僅受父親的影響，更深受父親的兩位好友、也就是衛斯理兄弟(John and Charles Wesley)所影響。這可從後來Perronet甚至加入了衛斯理兄弟在英格蘭佈道旅行的行列，作為見證。在約翰衛斯理的日誌中，有一段關於這位年輕人，跟隨威斯理兄弟在佈道旅行中，受到迫害的記載。日誌中，約翰衛斯理這麼敘述：「人們突然靠近，將他推倒，把他丟進泥沼裡。因此，當他從那些迫害他的人身邊爬起來，再次進入我們聚會的地方，屋子中的我們，沒有一個人能夠認出他從哪裡來，也不知道他到底是誰。」 另外，關於Perronet和衛斯理兄弟之間的關係，還有一個故事。約翰衛斯理曾多次鼓勵Perronet對會眾講道，但他一直推辭、不願意接受這個邀請。在一次聚會中，約翰衛斯理並未事先告知Perronet，直接當著會眾宣布，當天講道的講員是Perronet。在一開始的驚訝與遲遲不肯上台講道後不久，他最後還是走向講台，並開口說道：「我要傳遞在這世上曾被宣講過的一篇最偉大的講道。」接著，他翻開聖經，從馬太福音第五章「登山寶訓」這段聖經經文開始讀起；他讀了馬太福音5-7章，讀完後，他就安靜地走回座位。 Perronet後來因為與威斯理兄弟對於誰能主持聖餐抱持不同的看法，再加上，他向衛斯理兄弟提議脫離英國聖公會 (Church of England)當權者的管理、卻受到拒絕，自此之後，Perronet與衛斯理兄弟分道揚鑣，在Canterbury獨立牧會，直到過世。 翻看過去的軼事與記錄，雖然人們對於Edward Perronet人際關係方面的評論，多是負面的—有人說他很沒有耐心、脾氣很不好、很難與他相處…，然而他單單尊崇與高舉主耶穌，毫無保留，投入一切的熱情與關注，也不怕付上代價的跟隨主、愛主，這點是沒有人反駁的。1779年，也就是離開衛斯理兄弟後，Edward Perronet創作〈齊來頌讚耶穌聖名〉(“All Hail the Power of Jesus’ Name”)的詩詞；幾年後他又將詩詞稍作修改。而美國的一位木匠、也是作曲家Oliver Holden在1792年，也就是Perronet過世的那一年，為這首詩譜曲。〈齊來頌讚耶穌聖名〉(“All Hail the Power of Jesus’ Name”)此聖詩的曲調原有三個。而今天在節目尾聲向大家呈現、彈奏的曲調，則是採用美國作曲家Oliver Holden創作的曲調。 接下來第二首要介紹給大家的聖詩為〈無量讚美和榮光〉(“All Glory, Laud, and Honor”)。這首詩詞原文為拉丁文，由中古世紀中期的一位主教Theodulf (Bishop of Orleans)所寫。Theodulf深受當時法蘭克國王查理大帝(Charlemagne)的賞識，成為宮廷成員重要的一份子，並負責管理多個修道院。此外，他也是一位學者、詩人、聖經翻譯學家、以及支持各樣藝術發展的人。然而，當查理曼大帝過世，他的兒子路易士(Louis the Pious)繼任王位後，就控告Theodulf聯合敵人，危害帝國的安全，最後以通敵的罪名逮補他，剝奪他一切原有的權利，並將他拘禁在一個偏遠的修道院。約四年後，他在那裡過世。 聖詩〈無量讚美和榮光〉(“All Glory, Laud, and Honor”)是Theodulf在被拘禁期間所寫的詩。詩的內容，根據馬太福音第21章耶穌騎著驢進入耶路撒冷城的場景。當耶穌騎著驢進入耶路撒冷城時，眾人把衣服鋪在路上、還有將砍下的棕樹枝也鋪在路上。眾人前行後隨地呼喊著說：「和散那（原有求救的意思，在此是稱頌的話）歸於大衛的子孫！奉主名來的是應當稱頌的！高高在上和散那！」 關於聖詩〈無量讚美和榮光〉(“All Glory, Laud, and Honor”)，有傳聞，有一天當國王路易士走在路上、經過一個地方，在不遠處就聽到有人在唱歌，歌聲很好聽，他大受感動，便問身旁的人：「那歌聲從哪來？是誰唱的？」得知那歌唱的人竟然是他先前下令拘禁的Theodulf。國王路易士(Louis the Pious)因為深受Theodulf的歌聲與詩詞的內容所感動，當下釋放Theodulf，使他重獲自由，並下令以後棕樹節主日(Palm Sunday)教會要吟唱聖詩〈無量讚美和榮光〉(“All Glory, Laud, and Honor”)。然而，後來學者們查考，普遍認為此故事是杜撰的。 比起這個杜撰的故事，更重要的是，雖然Theodulf被當權者所厭棄，他在受監禁中所寫下的聖詩〈無量讚美和榮光〉(“All Glory, Laud, and Honor”)，卻不受限制，流傳下來。直到今日，許多基督徒與教會藉由唱這首聖詩，向主表明：唯有耶穌基督是萬王之王，萬主之主。 我想，Theodulf在深受查理大帝重用的時期，應該很懂得在宮廷中，如何周旋於各種權利之間的角力，也多少知道如何適時地對國王奉承。而當時他自己本身，不論他的神學著作、他在文學上展現的天份、他對修道院的經營與管理，還有他在其他領域上展現的聰明才智，也獲得了許多的青睞與讚美。然而感謝查理曼大帝的兒子—新的繼任者國王路易士對他的猜忌—剝奪他先前一切的尊貴與榮耀。想必這前後天差地的境遇，使得Theodulf心靈全然醒悟，確實地明白何謂真實的尊貴與榮耀。世上的權利、地位與名聲都可以瞬間歸於無有，它們也實在是虛空。唯獨耶穌基督配得一切的榮耀、尊貴與我們全心全意的愛戴。 今日我們吟唱聖詩〈無量讚美和榮光〉(“All Glory, Laud, and Honor”)所採用的曲調，是十六世紀時，由德國的作曲家Melchior Teschner (1584-1635)所創作。到了十九世紀，John Mason Neale (1818-1866)將這首聖詩翻譯為英文。 最後，也是今天要和大家介紹的第三首聖詩 〈來擁戴主為王〉(“Crown Him with Many Crowns”)。這首聖詩詩詞最初的作者是Matthew Bridges。英國在十六至十八世紀期間，有一段新教與舊教(天主教)之間對抗的歷史。新舊教之間緊張與對立的氣氛，在十九世紀幾乎趨於緩和。然而，當時二十八歲的Bridges出版了一本關於教宗是一切迷信根源的書籍。另外，他還藉由出版詩集和聖詩，表達與維護新教的立場。但奇怪的是，在二十年後，他重新皈信天主教，並在這不久之後，寫了一首有六節歌詞的聖詩—聖詩〈來擁戴主為王〉(“Crown Him with Many Crowns”)。此聖詩詩詞是Matthew Bridges受到啟示錄19: 12此經文的啟發而寫下的。啟示錄19: 12：「他的眼睛如火焰，他頭上戴著許多冠冕；又有寫著的名字，除了他自己沒有人知道。」寫下這首詩後，Bridges將這首詩命名為「撒拉弗之歌」(“The Song of the Seraphs”)。 1874年，Godfrey Thring對於Matthew Bridges 寫下的這首聖詩詩詞很不滿意，覺得內容過於充滿天主教色彩。Godfrey Thring認為詩的內容中提到「童貞女的兒子」(“the virgin’s son”)以及「神秘玫瑰的果實」(“the fruit of the mystic rose”)，非常的不恰當。Thring還批評Bridges在詩中沒有強調耶穌復活的重要性，非常的糟糕。結果Thring自己另外寫了六節的詩詞，強調頭上戴著許多冠冕的耶穌，祂不僅僅是2025-03-2218 min

愛的凱歌 (Adore Him)主愛超越 3 ("Love Divine, All Loves Excelling")Hi, 各位聽眾朋友們，平安！歡迎收聽愛的凱歌(Adore Him)，我是Judy。 今天是連續三週的最後一週，和大家分享Charles Wesley創作的聖詩〈主愛超越〉(“Love Divine, All Loves Excelling”)。聖詩〈主愛超越〉，有的聖詩歌本將標題翻譯為〈神聖主愛〉，而台語聖詩的標題則是〈上帝愛疼贏過一切〉。顯然，這首聖詩談論有關「愛」的主題。對於「愛」，大家想到什麼呢？ 查理．麥克斯（Charlie Mackesy）是位英國的漫畫家、插畫家和雕塑家。他創作的繪本《男孩，鼴鼠，狐狸與馬》(The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse)是他57歲時，出版的第一本書。由這本繪本改編的同名動畫短片，為查理．麥克斯（Charlie Mackesy）和他的合作夥伴，在去年贏得了第95屆奧斯卡金像獎最佳動畫短片的獎項。 繪本《男孩，鼴鼠，狐狸與馬》書中一開始提到，男孩在遇到鼴鼠之前，一直是很孤單寂寞的。鼴鼠與男孩相遇後，他們彼此結伴，在旅程中，常常一起凝視著曠野。不久旅程中，陸續出現了狐狸和馬。這本繪本故事中，男孩大約六、七歲，充滿著好奇心，喜歡問問題，也總是不斷地問問題，而鼴鼠和馬會回答他的問題。多數的時間，狐狸則是很安靜、警覺—因為他曾經受過生活的傷害。這本繪本沒有特定的劇情。旅程中，男孩、鼴鼠、狐狸與馬，就是一起看看世界、聊聊天。基本上這本書的構成，就是他們的對話。這是一本很簡單的書，是一本談論愛的書。書中角色之間的對話看似簡單，卻留給讀者很大的空間去省思。 以下我讀幾段繪本中的段話： 鼴鼠問男孩：「長大以後，你想當什麼呢？」 男孩說：「善良的人。」 男孩又問：「你覺得成功是什麼呢？」 鼴鼠回答：「懂得去愛。」 男孩：「你覺得最浪費時間的事是什麼？」 鼴鼠：「拿自己和別人比較」。 接著鼴鼠說：「我認識的多數老鼴鼠都說，多希望當初自己能少聽從恐懼，多聽從夢想。」 旅途中，出現一條河。男孩在河岸邊蹲下，低頭看著河面上自己的倒影，說道：「你（鼴鼠）不覺得很奇怪嗎？我們只看得見外在，但幾乎所有事都發生在我們的內心。」 旅程中，小男孩向同伴們告白自己內心脆弱的一面，他說： 「有時候我覺得迷失了方向，」 鼴鼠說： 「我也是，」 「但我們愛你，愛會指引你回家。」 「我想，每個人都只是想找到回家的路。」 充滿好奇的小男孩又繼續問問題：「與朋友在一起什麼事都不做，並不是真的無所事事，對嗎？」 鼴鼠回應：「當然」。 充滿好奇的男孩又繼續問問題，他問馬說： 「你說過最勇敢的話是什麼？」 「幫幫我」馬說道。 「你覺得最堅強的一刻是什麼時候？」男孩接著問， 「當我顯露最脆弱的時刻。」 「開口求助不是放棄，反而是不放棄」馬接著繼續說： 男孩說：「我偶爾會擔心你們會發現我很平凡。」 鼴鼠說：「愛並不需要你與眾不同。」 男孩悄悄地說：「狐狸好少說話。」 馬回答：「是啊，但他一直和我們在一起，多好。」 狐狸開口：「其實…我常常覺得自己沒有有趣的話可說。」 馬回應：「坦承分享，永遠都很有趣」。 馬也在旅程中，告訴同伴他心中脆弱的一面： 「有一件事，我一直沒有告訴你們，其實我會飛，但是因為怕遭受其他的馬嫉妒，從此我不再飛翔了。」 男孩說：「不論你會不會飛，我們愛你。」 而鼴鼠在和同伴表露心中的害怕： 「有時候我好想說：我愛你們，」 「但我發現很難，所以我會說：『我好高興』大家都在這裡。」 同伴們立刻回應：「我們也好高興你在這裡。」 在一次的採訪中，查理．麥克斯（Charlie Mackesy）提到，他年輕的時候，不懂得愛自己，並且有很長的一段時間，無法承認與說出心中的脆弱。他希望藉由繪本《男孩，鼴鼠，狐狸與馬》，讓人們開始學習對話，展開友誼，彼此相愛，希望讓我們為這個世界帶來一些盼望與愛，勇氣與夢想。 其實，查理．麥克斯（Charlie Mackesy）在年輕的時候是個無神論者。論及他對基督徒的印象，他曾經對他的朋友這麼說：「一個假裝良善但會論斷人的人，而且會相信他們所創造的、一個看不見的朋友。」直到有一天，他聽到福音歌手愛德溫．霍金斯（Edwin Hawkins）正唱著創作詩歌「哦，快樂的一天」（Oh Happy Day），人生經歷了改變。 Oh happy day, Oh happy day 哦快樂的一天，哦快樂的一天 When Jesus washed 當耶穌洗淨 Oh when he washed 哦，（當）他洗（淨）的時候 He washed my sins away 他洗淨我的罪孽 We’ll live rejoicing 我們會快樂地生活 Every day, Every day, 每一天，每一天 Oh happy day, Oh happy day 哦，快樂的一天！哦，快樂的一天！ 看似簡單但重複的歌詞，刺透查理．麥克斯（Charlie Mackesy）原本剛硬不信的心，讓他感動地流下淚來，雖然不是很清楚發生了什麼事情，但信主這件事就這麼成了。 查理．麥克斯（Charlie Mackesy）的信主生命見證，以及他創作的繪本《男孩，鼴鼠，狐狸與馬》，讓我想到聖詩〈主愛超越〉第一節歌詞的內容；特別是詩詞的最後兩句提到：懇求主的救恩降臨，充滿我們充滿懼怕的心。 聖經約翰一書4: 18說道：「愛裡沒有懼怕；愛既完全，就把懼怕除去。因為懼怕含著刑罰，懼怕的人在愛裡未得完全。」「愛既完全，就把懼怕除去。」唯有神的救恩臨到，祂的愛充滿我們，能為我們除去懼怕，也帶來完全的愛。 今天節目一開始，我提問：不知道大家對「愛」有什麼想法？接近節目尾聲，想和大家分享什麼是神的愛。 約翰壹書4:9-16說道： 「神 差 他 獨 生 子 到 世 間 來 ， 使 我 們 藉 著 他 得 生 ， 神 愛 我 們 的 心 在 此 就 顯 明 了 。 不 是 我 們 愛神 ， 乃 是 神 愛 我 們 ， 差 他 的 兒 子 為 我 們 的 罪 作 了 挽 回 祭 ， 這 就 是 愛 了 。 親 愛 的 弟 兄 阿 ，神 既 是 這 樣 愛 我 們 ， 我 們 也 當 彼 此 相 愛 。從 來 沒 有 人 見 過 神 ， 我 們 若 彼 此 相 愛 ， 神 就 住在 我 們 裡 面 ， 愛 他 的 心 在 我 們 裡 面 得 以 完 全 了 。神 將 他 的 靈 賜 給 我 們 ， 從 此 就 知 道 我 們是 住 在 他 裡 面 ， 他 也 住 在 我 們 裡 面 。父 差 子 作 世 人 的 救 主 ； 這 是 我 們 所 看 見 且 作 見 證 的。凡 認 耶 穌 為 神 兒 子 的 ， 神 就 住 在 他 裡 面 ， 他 也 住 在 神 裡 面 。神 愛 我 們 的 心 ， 我 們 也 知道 也 信 。 神 就 是 愛 ； 住 在 愛 裡 面 的 ， 就 是 住 在 神 裡 面 ， 神 也 住 在 他 裡 面 。」 今天節目的最後，邀請您來聆聽我們團隊錄製的聖詩〈主愛超2024-07-1813 min
愛的凱歌 (Adore Him)主愛超越 2 ("Love Divine, All Loves Excellsing")Hi, 各位聽眾朋友們，平安！歡迎收聽愛的凱歌(Adore Him)，我是Judy。 延續上週我們談到Charles Wesley創作的聖詩〈主愛超越〉(“Love Divine, All Loves Excelling”)，不知道大家有沒有想過，當你翻開聖詩或者詩歌本時，除了看到頁面正上方是歌曲的曲名之外，曲名稍稍下方的左右兩側，還會看到寫著英文的一些小字，而那些資訊又代表什麼意義呢？ 以聖詩〈主愛超越〉(“Love Divine, All Loves Excelling”)為例，曲名左下方，通常標註這首聖詩的作詞者。因為有些聖詩的歌詞是直接引用聖經經文，所以有時作詞者可能標記的不是人名，而是標記聖經經文出處。當然也有標註作詞者不詳的另一個可能性。 至於聖詩曲名的右下方，則是標註作曲者的資訊。作曲者可能是人名，但若作曲者的創作首次出現在聖詩歌本中，就會以歌本的名稱來紀錄作曲者的資訊。又或者有的時候，我們會看到作曲者有兩人以上，譬如會寫某某人作曲，某某人寫和聲。 有些聖詩歌本很講究，甚至會提供聖詩的韻律資訊。例如，我們若翻開台語聖詩，不難發現在標註作詞者資訊的下方，會有一連串的數字，像是：8686, 8888, 8787, 或者8686888等等。究竟這一串數字是什麼意思呢？這些數字是告訴我們關於詩詞的韻律。首先，韻律指的是詩句的排列。例如，當我們看到8686這四個數字時，就可以知道，這首聖詩的詩句總共有四句，8686的第一個8代表第一句詩句有8 個字，6代表第二句詩句有6個字，依此類推。 記得小時候聽到教會請聖詩研究專家來講解聖詩的韻律時，我心裡納悶，真的會是這樣嗎？當然那時我對什麼是詩詞？什麼是韻律？實在矇矇懂懂，也沒有太多的興趣與關注，倒是專家一邊講解時，我就隨手翻開任何一首聖詩，按照所學的，看到標註韻律是8686，就開始認真數算，是不是真的第一句是8個字，第二句6個字，第三句8個字。然後又翻到別首聖詩，看到韻律寫著8787，就又開始認真的數算，看看聖詩詩詞，是不是真的照著這樣的數字創作…。 自從愛的凱歌從去年12月上架以來，為了製作節目，比起過去，我更加留意詩歌或者聖詩的作詞與作曲者的資訊。以前只是很膚淺的，看表面、皮毛的東西，但是製作Podcast節目後，在準備的過程中，我才開始稍微深入了解作詞與作曲者的信仰與創作經歷。在這當中，獲益良多的同時，我心中也有許多的感概。雖然每位作曲、作詞者的背景不盡相同，但截至目前為止，我體會到，他們都有兩個共通性：第一，這些聖詩創作者非常的勤奮。讓我想到聖經羅馬書12:11-12的經文。「殷勤不可懶惰。要心裡火熱，常常服事主。在指望中要喜樂，在患難中要忍耐，禱告要恆切。」第二，這些聖詩創作者對於真理非常渴慕，並且詳細考察。誠如聖經彼得前書1:10-12中，使徒彼得寫信給教會弟兄姊妹時，如此說道：「論到這救恩，那預先說你們要得恩典的眾先知早已詳細的考察，就是考察在他們心裡基督的靈，預先證明基督受苦難，後來得榮耀，是指著什麼時候，並怎樣的時候。他們得了啟示，知道他們所傳講（原文是服事）的一切事，不是為自己，乃是為你們。那靠著從天上差來的聖靈傳福音給你們的人，現在將這些事報給你們；天使也願意詳細查看這些事。」 聖詩對於不論在主日的崇拜或者基督徒的信仰生活都有著密切的關係。聖詩的創作不單單只是為了追求優美的詩詞或者好聽的旋律，聖詩詩詞其中隱含許多的神學意涵與聖經教導，幫助並引領我們敬拜三一神。有時候我們無法以言語表達對神的敬畏、讚嘆、尊崇、感謝，或者有時候我們不知如何表達對神的渴望、禱求，但藉由聖詩的幫助，我們能來到神面前敬拜、讚美、感謝或禱告。 而今天和大家簡要的分享如何翻開聖詩時，就可以一目了然，快速掌握作詞、作曲者與韻律等資訊。其中，盼望透過聖詩記載的作詞和作曲者，幫助我們以後每逢吟唱聖詩時，能夠想到：我們是和歷代眾聖徒同來敬拜三一神，這是何等的美好！同時另一方面，也盼望透過聖詩記載的這些作詞、作曲者，在我們信仰低潮時，能夠成為我們的安慰與激勵。誠如聖經希伯來書12:1 說道：「我們既有這許多的見證人，如同雲彩圍著我們，就當放下各樣的重擔，脫去容易纏累我們的罪，存心忍耐，奔那擺在我們前頭的路程。」 節目尾聲，不同於上週的曲調，今天我們採用Rowland Prichard創作的曲調，以充滿爵士風的鋼琴獨奏形式，和大家分享聖詩〈主愛超越〉(“Love Divne, All Loves Excelling”)。在節目的資訊欄中，我們有提供聖詩〈主愛超越〉中、英文歌詞的對照，邀請您一面聆聽音樂，一面默想這首詩聖詩的詩詞。我們下週見! ❤️ We welcome feedback and comments: https://open.firstory.me/story/clrq2cwjl01k401v51igm6r6f?m=comment ❤️ 愛的凱歌 Adore Him: https://he-is-the-one-we-adore.firstory.io/ --------------------------------------------------------- ✏️ 〈主愛超越〉鋼琴獨奏 (“Love Divine, All Loves Excelling” Piano Solo) 曲｜Music by Rowland Prichard 1831 編曲｜Arranged by Michael Woytiuk 演奏｜Performed by Judy Lin ------------------------------------------------------------- ✏️ 〈主愛超越〉(“Love Divine, All Loves Excelling”) 詞｜Words: Charles Wesley (1707-1788) 中譯｜：選自《頌主新歌》 Verse 1 Love divine, all loves excelling, joy of heav'n to earth come down, fix in us Thy humble dwelling; all Thy faithful mercies crown!
