After almost 20 years of coaching I've been doing some reflecting on things that have been successful and things that have not. I talk about the initial approach to coaching when we starter Compound Wrestling and how I am adjusting for this new crop of athletes as well as my plan for the next 8-10 years to get the club back to where we were at our peak.

Wrestling Changed My Life (Wrestling Podcast)
#45 - Wrestling Hustlin' with Cliff Fretwell
Cliff Fretwell has made a career out of wrestling by running the Compound Wrestling Academy and Compound Clothing. What I love is that his background isn't that of a typical blue-chip wrestler. He got back into the sport in the early 2000's as a middle school coach, and within a year he was running a state-wide training camp for Georgia wrestlers. After uploading thousands and thousands of matches for flo back in the early days, his brand started to grow and with that came the opportunity to run Compound full-time.
