3. Klimagipfel der Kärntner Schüler*innen
Von 30. November bis 12. Dezember 2023 fand in Dubai die 28. UN-Klimakonferenz (COP) statt. Passend dazu tagte am Freitag, den 1. Dezember der bereits 3. Klimagipfel der Kärntner Schüler*innen am Centrum Humanberuflicher Schulen, kurz CHS - in Villach. Wir geben euch einen Einblick hinter die Kulissen. Ungefähr 150 Schüler und Schüler*innen aus verschiedenen Schulen nahmen am Klimagipfel teil und diskutierten über Auswege aus der Klimakrise. Hochwasser im Lavanttal (Kärnten) im Sommer 2023
Im Sommer 2023 machten anhaltenden Regenfällen dem Lavanttal in Kärnten zu schaffen. Besonders in St. Paul und St. Georgen drohte die Lavant über die Ufer zu treten und der Granitzbach führte ein 100-jähriges Hochwasser. Auch das Stift St. Paul war vom anhaltenden Starkregen betroffen. Die Schüler*innen des Stiftsgymnasiums St. Paul haben mit den Verantwortlichen des Krisenstabes über die Folgen des Unwetters, Vorsichtsmaßnahmen und Verhaltenstips im Notfall gesprochen.
