In 1959, teenagers James Denovan and Anthony Miller devised a scheme to rob homosexual men in Queen’s Park Recreation Ground in Glasgow. They exploited the fact that homosexuality was illegal, knowing their victims would be unlikely to report the crimes. This continued until April 1960, when one of their victims, John Cremin, was killed.
