Missing the Point - A Sports Podcast
2025 NFL Power Rankings Part 1 | Preseason Kickoff
The NFL preseason is here. Missing the Point hosts Dave Clarke and Bob Kelly open Part 1 of our 2025 NFL Power Rankings and stack the league with clear tiers and firm takes. We start at the bottom with the Cleveland Browns. A crowded quarterback room, Myles Garrett trade chatter, and a roster in flux shape the outlook. We explain what a successful season looks like and why the floor matters more than the ceiling right now. Next, the New Orleans Saints. An aging core and tight cap space create real questions. We outline the path back...

NOT FORGOTTEN: Stories of Utah's Dixie
Episode 3: Sun Bowl
The 2024 Lion’s Dixie Roundup Rodeo marks the 90th year of this near-mythic community celebration in St. George, Utah. In this episode Lyman, and his guests Chad Drake, Sharlene Squire, and Doug Sorenson, take us back to 1934 and the founding of the rodeo and all its related community traditions, as well as the building of the Lion’s Dixie Sun Bowl in 1946. Everything about the Roundup exudes the Spirit of Dixie, and everything about it was near and dear to Doctor Craig Booth who treasured his boyhood memories full of the pageantry and joy of those September days.

A new podcast from Everything Sounds' George Drake, Jr. Coming December 2, 2019 In 2008, a family in Dayton, Ohio was remodeling an original bathroom of their 1927 house. During the process, they unearthed a letter and two envelopes in near perfect condition dating back over 90 years. The letter, from a man simply named "Will" is vague, secretive, and mysterious. The envelopes paint an even more confusing picture. Fifth and Ludlow tells the story of 1920s Dayton through the lens of the letter, and aims to expose the answers to the countless questions it raises.
