DPC Voice - A Podcast from the Democratization Policy Council
DPC talks with Ray Kennedy (California)
Valery Perry spoke with Ray Kennedy, who has been doing international election observation missions for the United Nations, the US-based International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES), and others since the late 1980s. The trigger for this conversation was the failure of the US government to invite the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) to send an observation mission for the midterm elections on November 3, something which has been a general and accepted practice. By not doing so, as a participating state within the OSCE the US joins the ranks of countries like Russia and Belarus in not a...

Medicare Opt-Out for DPC Doctors: AAFP Resolution 504 Explained with Dr. Shannon Connolly
Under current Medicare rules, a physician who opts out of Medicare for their DPC practice can't bill Medicare anywhere else. That means no hospitalist shifts, no SNF work and no hospice. AAFP Resolution 504, introduced by the New Mexico chapter, asks the AAFP to advocate for a partial opt-out by practice setting. The Congress of Delegates votes on it in October.Dr. Shannon Connolly is co-owner of Open Arms Direct Primary Care in Southern California, a past CAFP president and a CAFP delegate to the AAFP.

用語メモ:DPC/PDPSとは DPC(Diagnosis Procedure Combination)は、病名と手術・処置の組み合わせで入院患者を分類する「診断群分類」です。PDPS(Per-Diem Payment System)は、その分類ごとに1日あたりの点数を定めて支払う方式です。

Get full access to 岡大徳のメルマガ at www.daitoku0110.news/subscribe

Get full access to 岡大徳のメルマガ at www.daitoku0110.news/subscribe

Get full access to 岡大徳のメルマガ at
