Sermons from Philip Street Chapel Bristol
29th June (pm)- RBT- 2 Samuel 23 v.13-17- Neil Todman
In this devotion to open the service Pastor Neil Todman opens up the strange story of David's mighty men risking their lives to get water from a well in Bethlehem only for David to pour it all on the ground! Following Dai Hankey's chapter in The Hard Corps, Neil thinks about how Jesus loves us at our most broken, and how we can express our devotion to him in return. He challenges us to think if we are close enough to Jesus to hear the cry of his heart? Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Episode 103: Dai Hankey on Burnout and Finding Rest
A lot of us are burnt out. If you aren't feeling it now, you surely have at some point and probably will in the future.
