Wie steht sie dazu, dass die DiEM25 Bewegung vor allem durch Yannis Varoufakis getragen wird und zur One-Man-Show geraten könnte? "Es braucht ein Zugpferd, einen Initiator, der einen ersten Funken setzt", sagt Platsch. Seine Erfahrung in Brüssel und als Finanzminister Griechenlands, sowie die Art wie er Politik betreibt, mache ihn zum idealen Kandidaten. Speziell für den Wahlkampf brauche es Menschen wie ihn: „Sowie unsere Medien und Politik heute funktionieren, ist es wichtig sich klar ausdrücken zu können und dann die nötige Aufmerksamkeit für die eigenen Themen zu bekommen“.

This talk is an update on what happened in the last year in the international taxation sphere. We will also provide a quick overview of the international taxation system. The topics of our talk will be:
- Paradise Papers: After the famous #LuxLeaks and #PanamaPapers, the Paradise Papers were published in November 2017. A set of 13.4 million confidential electronic documents relating to offshore investments 19 tax jurisdictions. We will provide a summary, show the biggest cases, and demonstrate how this is a structural problem.
