Greenpeace schätzt, dass der Stromverbrauch der Halbleiterindustrie in Taiwan bis 2030 auf 74 TWh anwachsen könnte. Das wäre eine Steigerung um 231% im Vergleich zu 2021, und fast so viel wie der Stromverbrauch von ganz Neuseeland.
