The Legislature passed two bills that will fund the Insure Louisiana Incentive Program. The legislation will provide $45 million to help attract insurers to write coverages in Louisiana.

The Senate Finance Committee stripped the House Floor amendments off of the bill in order to ensure that the legislation has the best chance of being implemented immediately. Those amendments will likely be placed on HB 2.
